Jazz legend Denise Thimes stars on Metro Theater Company’s LAST STOP ON MARKET STREET, February 6-27 at Grandel | Entertainment

The production of the Metro Theater Company Last stop on Market Street is directed by St. Louis director, actor, drama teacher at UMSL and associate artist MTC Jacqueline Thompson, who previously directed MTC’s presentation of Idris Goodwin’s film Phantom at the Théâtre Grandel and at the COCA presentation Four Little Girls: Birmingham 1963. In addition to Denise Thimes as Nana, the 6-member cast includes Daniel McRath as Chief Justice, and Robert crenshaw, Valentina silva, Cameron Tyler, and Tyler Blanc overall with depictions of several characters. Philip A. Woodmore, Ph.D., a long-time active member of the St. Louis music community and Executive Director of P. Woodmore Music, LLC, is the Music Director of Last stop on Market Street. Christophe Page Sanders, former dancer with Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and current founding co-artistic director of the NU-World Contemporary Dance Theater in Denver, is the choreographer.
