“Jim Caruso’s Cast Party” is a hugely popular open mic party that has brought a dash of glitz and urban spirit to Broadway in New York every Monday night since 2004. It’s a cool open mic party and show hilarious, impromptu variety show in which showbiz superstars take to the stage alongside newcomers, serving up jaw-dropping music and general awe. “Cast Party” is the perfect place to mingle with talented artists and their fans. The dynamic, lively and charming Caruso guides the whole affair, while the musical genius Billy Stritch (Liza Minnelli, Tony Bennett) holds court at the ivories and leads the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra (Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on battery). The best part is that the public is invited to join in the musical festivities. More information is available at www.CastPartyNYC.com
